Mosquitoes – “Fight the Bite”
Per County and State Health Department recommendations, he Village treats stormsewers, catch basins, and standing water with biological larvicides to cut down on the number of mosquitoes BEFORE they’re mature enough to bite! Keeping our wetland areas healthy helps tremendously as well. There are also many things that homeowners can do to reduce the nasty biters –especially since the most nasty biters propagate in and around homes in surprisingly small amounts of standing water.
