PUBLIC HEARING: OCTOBER 8, 2024 at 6:45PM for Update of the Village Comprehensive Plan
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE PLAN COMMISSION
OF THE VILLAGE OF PORT BARRINGTON,
LAKE and McHENRY COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
Notice is hereby given in compliance with 65 ILCS 5/11-12-7 that the Village of Port Barrington Plan Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 6:45 p.m. at the Port Barrington Village Hall, 69 South Circle Avenue, Port Barrington, IL 60010. The hearing will be held to consider adoption of the Village of Port Barrington Comprehensive Plan Update.
A copy of the draft Comprehensive Plan which is the subject of this public hearing is on file and available for public viewing at the Port Barrington Village Hall. Anyone wishing to comment may attend the meeting and be heard. Written comments may be submitted to the Village Clerk at the Village Hall on or before 5:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing, or during the hearing and prior to close.
The draft updated Comprehensive Plan may be added to, revised, altered or eliminated as a result of the public hearing and prior to final action by the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Port Barrington. The public hearing may be continued from time to time without further notice.
