Dear Prospective Bidders,
The Village of Port Barrington is inviting proposals for waste management services for our community. Enclosed, you will find the Request for Proposal (RFP), along with the current contract with our waste hauler and collection totals for Q1 through Q4.
The selected provider will enter into an agreement with the Village for a term beginning September 1, 2025, and ending August 31, 2030. The RFP will be available on the Village’s website starting March 21, 2025.
A voluntary Pre-Proposal meeting will be held on April 7, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the Port Barrington Village Hall. Any questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in writing to Trustee Brian Lawrence by April 11, 2025, at 4:30 p.m., either by mail to Village Hall or via email at trusteelawrence@portbarrington.net. Responses will be provided by April 25, 2025.
