In order to ensure efficient public safety services to the Port Barrington community, police coverage is provided 24/7 by McHenry and Lake County Sheriff Departments and augmented by contracting off-duty Deputies for additional, personalized coverage.
In addition, the Village employs a Code Enforcement Officer to address local code violations with personalized service!

OVERNIGHT PARKING: If you have a case where your car/s need to be on the street due to a construction project, your driveway being sealed, or guests staying over, request a waiver for overnight parking from our contracted Code Enforcement through Wauconda Code Enforcement to avoid ticketing!
