Arbor Day Planting Event – POSTPONED

*Due to recent flooding in the neighborhood, the Arbor Day Planting Event has been postponed. Please check back here for updates and the rescheduled date.*

It has been a banner year for trees planted in our Village! Lake County grant money allowed the planting of 75 trees last Arbor Day in the Deer Grove property. Not long after, they bestowed grant money to plant 67 trees between the Roberts Road commercial property and Riverwalk in Lake County! This year, Port Barrington will be celebrating Arbor Day 2026 with the addition of tree at the newly established Eastwood Park! Meet at the Village Hall at 4PM on April 24th to join in the planting of a tree native to our area. Help us celebrate Arbor Day and Port Barrington’s 10+ years as a Tree City!
