Sandbagging is one method to protect your property during flood events. It is imperative to sandbag correctly to save on time, energy and resources.

There are currently sand and bags available in the Village Hall parking lot for those who feel they need them to protect their property. Sandbags must be disposed of properly and may not be used as permanent structures or as shoreline stabilizers. Once used, they are considered toxic waste. Please contact the Village Hall to learn about proper disposal.
